It was located in a quiet area of Venice but still with a canal view. It was very easy to get to with a simple 10 minute walk from the train station.

A nice quiet and romantic hotel. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff VERY helpful and polite. I would highly recomend the Hotel Hesperia to my friends.

As I have stayed at the hotel before,I knew where I was going. Catching the Alaguna from the airport was interesting. It's easy to miss your boat as the large queue for San Marco won't let you through! The hotel was very welcoming!

The hotel made our stay extra special because of their kindness, helpfulness and friendliness. Their advice enabled us to enjoy our visit so much! They made us feel welcome and special, which in a city full of tourists was amazing. The hotel is not grand but it is so lovely and clean, very effiecently run and personal. We shall definitely recommend them to friends and wiil return!

Great location, yet quiet street

Small friendly hotel with basic amenities, in a very nice location in Venice. The trouble with Venice is that it is so overrun by tourists, it is hard to eat well and stay off the beaten track. Also, the hotels in general are very overpriced. The Hesperia could be a little more proactive in helping with dinner, lunch suggestions and ways of discovering this romantic city, without the feeliung that one is in the Grand bazaar of Istanbul!
