 The apartment is located in the Giudeccca Island that boasts two fine Palladian churches and of course the legendary Cipriani Hotel, as well as having an interesting mix of both historic and 'ordinary' housing, boatyards and warehouses such as the famous Fortuny fabric house. It is this mix which is so fascinating, and gives Giudecca its unique character - it is very much the up and coming area of Venice, as well as having a special meridional feel all of its own. |
