La Locandiera lies in the heart of Venice, just a short walk away from St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. Moreover it is well located if you want to do some shopping at the Mercerie (the streets where you find all the shops) or in the best boutiques of Calle XXII Marzo, one of the most prestigious shopping street of the city.

The hotel is near to
lots of good restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, bars and "ciccheterie" (where you can find the typical Venetian foods, both meat and fish, accompanied by good regional wines!). It s near also to banks, post-office and supermarkets.

In the town centre there are many churches worthwhile to visit and if you are a theatre-lover, don't miss some
musical or acting performances which take place every night in the most beautiful and historical theatres.
According to the period of your stay, you will discover a real lively town, rich in world famous events, such as the well known Biennale (ART exhibition) or the colourful Carnevale...

Once explored Venice enough, you can dedicate to
spend some time on the islands around the town, such as Murano, Burano and Torcello, which can be easily reached by the public vaporettos service... or, for the most romantic ones, by a gondola... or, for the richest ones, by a private taxi to rent for the whole day!
