There could have been more pictures on the web page, of the individual rooms, since they were very nice.

Unfortunately, upon arrival they informed us that the room we had booked months in advance was unavailable until the following day. However, the next morning after breakfast, while we went out into the city, they took care of moving our luggage into the correct room.

During the summer history-making heatwave, the tiny room air conditioner was laughable. The room rarely got cool enough to be comfortable. But, the intensity of the weather was unusual. The Locanda is charming and lovely, and the personnel quite accomodating and friendly. This 12 day visit was our second stay at Locanda Art Deco in the past four years, so obviously we enjoy their offerings.

The arrival went well. We didn't know how to get around Venice, so it took us a while to figure out where to catch the vaparetto. After that it was easy.

The only thing that happened that was bad was the mosquitoes. We were unaware of the mosquito repellant device that needed to be plugged in and refilled; therefore, I received 30 mosquito bites. I wish we had known to refill it from the first day.

A cute hotel with rooms that were near San Marco square. It was spacious and the breakfast was provided each day. Very convenient and we enjoyed our room.

The reception were fantastic on reception - very helpful.

The room was very nice - but not as big as some of the others. The room service was excellent and the light breakfast just right.
However, there was a lot of noise late each night from the Internet cafe just beside the
Locanda.

In an excellent location within the traingle of Academia Bridge, Rialto Bridge and San Marco.

All very clear - it might be useful to provide directions on the most economic way to get into the centre of Venice but over all a lovely weekend break, and brilliant accommodation.

Directions did NOT indicate the number of stairs one encounters in Venizia. Vaporetto stop listed (Acadamia) was not the most efficient for one to travel, with luggage, by foot to the hotel. San Samuel is a much better stop for getting to the Art Deco (no stairs to climb with luggage).

Ceiling fans, especially in the breakfast area, would be helpful. Vinizia was experiencing a heat wave and even just going out of the air conditioned room for breakfast would cause one to consider a shower before heading out again.

Being located right across a narrow street from a popular restaurant, there was often late night noise coming from the street.

The in structions on how to get there were ok if you know Venice, if not then they could do with being more detailed.

This is a great hotel - small just 10 rooms, but ours was a good size. Good decor, really helpful and friendly staff and for Venice reasonable prices. . The breakfast area is small and you may have to wait if too many people come at the same time, but generally not for long.The position is excellent just off the bustling Campo San Stefano and close to the Accademia Bridge and about a 10 minute walk to St. Marks.There are many art galleries and antique shops close by and the Fenice is about 5-10 minutes.

The arrival was an experience. Taking the boat to our hotel was great. The people working at the hotel seemed preoccupied, so we didn't get the best welcoming. And it would've been nice to have help with our luggage up the stairs.

Better directions from airport. There was no mention of the alilaguna boat service. The map also would not fully download but luckily I already had a map of Venice. Without this it would have been difficult yo locate.

Good way to find inexpensive accomodations not advertised elsewhere.

The young man at the desk (not the manager) was preoccupied, did not smile, was not interested in us and was irritated by us as far as we could tell. Nonetheless, he did check us in and give us keys to the rooms.

It was a well-located, simple, clean hotel. It was not charming, but it was functional. Having a friendlier staff may have made it more pleasant. We were only there one night and we were just looking for a place to sleep so it was adequate. I would try somewhere else next time.

You might want to tell people that there is no elevator and the rooms are upstairs. It did not matter to us, but some people may not be able to use stairs.

It would be helpful to publish the closest water taxi stop.

The only thing I have to say is that after looking at the photos of the rooms at the hotel I thought our room would be larger...It was indeed very small...very clean but very small...maybe you should add that some of the rooms might be small, your pictures make them look larger than they are..

The room that we had booked was not available as the toilet was broken. But they upgraded us to a new apartment at a better location instead at no extra cost. We were very pleased and grateful for their flexibility and generousity.

Didn't stay at Locanda Art Deco itself, but our breakfast included in the stay was there. It's a small and cozy place, conveniently located.

The new apartment was very nice, spacious and clean. Good location new St Marco Square. But there were mosquitoes and the TV had no remote control.
