We arrived in the evening and there was something there to check us in. There wasn't a big greeting or tour of the hotel but was a friendly welcome.

This is a quaint little hotel. The rooms are very small but nicely decorated. The location is very central which is great for the price!

The website is very easy to use and I especially like being able to search hotels by the area maps. I've used the website for booking in Venice & Rome and have been very pleased with the results for both holidays - the hotels I chose online were exactly as I expected when I arrived.

we stayed in a different building to the recption. we had to carry our own luggage up 2 flights of stairs. the rooms weren't as pretty as in the photos. the spare bed wasn't made up for my daughter, and when we went to get bedding they didnt have any blankets. the rooms were cold and damp and we couldn't put the heating on (not till november we were told)or get any additional blankets.

we decided to stay a second night and they made us change rooms which was a hassle. we also had to pay for a breakfast for that second night even though we weren't going to be there.

polite receptionist. small rooms and no lift. good location. don't stay in october when you cant get heating or blankets.
