Roberto met us at the front door and carried our bags in for us.

All of our expectations were met. No surprises. Roberto was excellent and very courteous. I would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend the Locanda Correr to others. Given my experience with Locanda, I will definitely use Worldby.com to book my next trip to Europe.

This is a great bed and breakfast with hotel quality service and amenities. The location is great, just off of one of the squares with a nice choice of restaurants. It is an easy walk to St. Marks and other sites. Very charming, great service, and very relaxing. Locanda Correr will take care of you and enhance your experience in Venice. I wish I could find more places like this when I travel.

Roberto was the most gracious of hosts we encountered on our two week visit to Italy. His hotel is pristine and more than we imagined. The walk to the hotel upon arrival was somewhat stressful although you provided excellent directions. Once we were there, however, there was no problem finding our way around.
The Locanda Correr was our favorite hotel and experience of our entire trip.

At the day of the check in, we arrived at the hotel before the official check in time so there was no receptionist but only the cleaning lady. She did not speak English but was very helpful, she called someone so that we could already get the key to the room and leave our bags. We checked in 'officially' in the evening when we returned. That was very nice of them to be so flexible.

I have already started to communicate this address to friends, especially those who hesitate to go to Venise because of the accommodation prices. This is a reasonable rate for a B&B in the heart of the city, in a charming and very clean environment. All you need.

The receptionist was very helpful and nice. We felt really welcome.

It was extremely central and provided an excellent basis upon which to see the key sights in Venice. The staff were polite and helpful and helped to make our holiday a true pleasure.

The hotel is tucked away down a typical Venice back street - the directions given on the website were far more helpful than trying to use a map to work out where the hotel was!

The presence of a 24 hour porter (despite being a small hotel) was appreciated.

Lovely, small hotel with excellent service and good size rooms. The only drawback was that there were no views from the room, due to the location of the hotel. Otherwise excellent.

Regarding directions to the hotel,it might be helpful to say that after passing through the square, turn left at the first passageway.

Although the hotel is located up a long flight of stairs with no lift, Roberto insisted on helping to carry our luggage up when we arrived and down when we departed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Locanda Correr very much. It was very conveniently located one block over from San Marco and two blocks up from the Alilaguna water bus stop. This location makes it very easy to find when exploring the area as all the signs point you back to San Marco.
The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated in the Venetian style. Roberto was very pleasant and helpful with great recommendations for dinner at nearby restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to our friends and hope to stay here again in the future.

Arriving later in the evening than anticipated, it was with some good luck that we spotted the conspicuous red carpet and planters outside the hotel door, otherwise we could easily have missed it.

Excellent hotel right in the hub, yet in a quiet location. Small and family run, the hotel offered few frills, however it was excellent value for money, was spotlessly clean, had been tastefully decorated in Venetian style and the service itself was friendly and accommodating. I'd certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to my friends.
