Profile

"Locanda Leon Bianco "is three-star hotel situated adjoining the "Ca' da Mosto", an important mansion of the thirteenth century that faces the Canal Grande, between Ca' d'Oro and Rialto Bridge; our property has formerly been, between '500 and '700, the house of the "Albergo del Leon Bianco" (White Lion Hotel), the most famous hotel in Venice that had as guest also the Emperor Joseph II.

Nowadays in the same place, the "Locanda Leon Bianco" arises, completely restored with its wonderful rooms (some of them facing the Canal Grande). You can stay there and be sure to find a higher comfort, the best quiet atmosphere and the traditional Venetian hospitality. The feeling you'll sense staying in our hotel, will be the same you usually feel at home. Moreover, our hotel can boast of having had as guest, during the 1819, Mr. Turner, the famous painter of the Canal Grande.
