The Casa del Melograno - Locanda is located in the Cannaregio district, one of Venice's most central and lively areas. The inn overlooks the Rio de S.Marcuola, and it is situaded less than 100 metres away from Palazzo Vendramin Calergi (home of the City's Casino)and from the S.Marcuola church. Moreover, the inn is very close to the central and pictoresque Strada Nuova, which leads from the S.Lucia railway station to Rialto's bridge, and to the old Jewish Ghetto, with the Synagogues and the Jewish museum.
With a relaxed 15 minutes walk (or with a 10 minutes trip by water bus) You can reach S.Mark's square with its amazing Basilica, Palazzo Grassi (where worldwide famous exhibitions are held), the Goldoni Theatre, the Fenice Theatre (recently re-inaugurated after the 1996 fire). |
