The washing machine was not working.
The instructions on the internet were not clear. I tried to email for instructions but the email was undeliverable. Finally, I had to phone from Rome. The instructions over the phone were very clear and accurate.

We found it difficuly to locate the apartment as we were unfamiliar with Venice.

Photos made the property look newer than reality.
The clothes washing machine did not work for the five days we were there. This was extremely inconvenient being the middle of summer with a family of five. There appeared to be no intention to remedy this during our stay.
