Fantastic location and the additional balcony area for room 101 was magnificent!

You should include some photographs of the views of the grand canal. We spent all of our time on the balcony just watching the water traffic until way past midnight.

We did not receive an extra bed for our 3-year old son (which was mentioned in the reservation). But rapidly after requested our room was changed - very well attended to.

The hotel was our favorite of three cities on our trip. The staff was more than gracious. And certainly made our stay very comfortable.

Very accomadating..even ensuring that we had a water taxi waiting for us at 4am!! to make a 6:15 flight.

You did describe the garden were we had breakfast..but not quite how lovely...the perfect way to start a busy day in Venice. Or to come back to after walking endlessly thru the city. And also the fact that the water taxi literally stops at the front door...a definate plus.

An upscale hotel with excellant service. The staff came and went without our ever knowing, but always had our rooms ready. The staff at the front desk welcomed and made us feel quite at home. The rooms although not large are very comfortable, and the bathrooms have all the needed conforts. Overall, I would want any of my friends or family to see Venice (ahh) and to stay at the Manin while there.
Even though on the Grand Canal there is always a peace around the area of the hotel.

I would absolutely recommend it. I had a great time there. Very conveniently located next to the vaporetto stop. Room was great -I actually expected it to be smaller having read that most standard rooms in Venice tend to be quite small. I was very pleased that this was not the case with the Manin. I am sure that in summer time the noise level would be higher in the area surrounding the hotel, but during my stay in January, there were no problems with noise.
The staff were wonderful, particularly Katia who I tended to see the most.The breakfast was terrific also - very generous selection of hot and cold food.
I truly had a memorable stay in Venice and would go back to stay at the Manin any time.

1. The room we stayed in seems to be the one depicted on your website so we were very pleased. We loved the canal view.
2. A small point that we mentioned to the front desk. In room 202 there are no places to hang the towelling gown and wet towels. Because the bathroom has a sliding door, no hooks had been installed as had been done in the rest of the rooms in the hotel.
3. The restful courtyard was a lovely place for breakfast.

1. 'From Venice Airport 'Marco Polo' (VCE) the hotel can be reached directly by watertaxi or by ordinary taxi' - You need to update this as the water taxi had to drop us next to the old terminal which is quite a distance from the newly built terminal so it's better to take the water bus and the coach from Piazzale Roma.
2. 'Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms? All the junior suites facing the Canal Grande, most with balcony are very romantic.'
We wanted to know was if the rooms were quiet (which they are), but your website does not answer that particular question or say there is double glazing. An email enquiry to Christian Orru gave us the answers we needed - that the courtyard rooms were quieter, so at least we know we had a choice. Mr Orru was most helpful.

Central, clean, charming and a lovely place to stay in Venice. The Sant' Angelo bus stop is most convenient. We'd stay there again.

It was a lovely hotel, but the housekeeping service was lousy - no soap in the room when we got there, no turn down service, sheets left on floor from when they had been changed. This was the priciest hotel we stayed in during our two week Italian sojourn, and the least accommodating.
