| | | The Metropole Hotel is located in the heart of Venice, overlooking the sea and San Marco basin, in an ideal position close to Piazza San Marco and all major attractions of the city.
The Metropole is elegantly furnished with original period furniture, precious velvets, exotic scents, old books, silver chandeliers. The Met restaurant has been awarded with one Michelin star thanks to the creativity of the Chef Corrado Fasolato and his delicious Fusion Cuisine. The restaurant offers a large variety of Italian and local dishes with live music every evening, while in the afternoon the lounge provides the ideal tea-time setting with a selection of over 30 different types of tea and home-made pastries.
Last but not least, the Metropole Hotel also features an in-house exhibition of antiquities with over 2000 pieces.
Looking out onto The Island of St. Giorgio, the famous and popular Met Restaurant offers the ideal environment for guests to sample the delicious recipes for which it has been awarded the Michelin Star, rendering it unique as the only restaurant in town with such prestige.
Antique Thai armour from the late 1800's decorated with thin pieces of carved and polished wood, bring a precious oriental touch to the ambiance. Candles and lamps burn away in a dark-wood Indian treasure chest in the middle of the room, giving constant heat.
Everything is in harmony with the new cuisine of Corrado Fasolato, a true master of culinary art, offering a creative menu, rich in character and with unusual combinations. A true spectacle of colours, smells and flavours that render a dinner at the Met an memorable experience. Its fusion dishes are unforgettable, such as cuttlefish tagliatelle with a carbonara sauce or the Moka -based menu.

The bread buffet consists of home-baked pies, different types of bread and croissants served directly from the oven in the kitchen.
The fruit buffet features fresh fruit salad, yogurth with almonds, honey and banana, marmelades, fresh fruit and every type of cereal.
