The Hotel Metropole rises from the heart of the city on the lagoon, and appears overlooking the magical 'Bacino di San Marco' (the lagoon area in front of St. Mark's Square). Only a few metres away from St. Mark's Square, it's easy to arrive at the hotel from the various arrival points into Venice.

How To Reach Us
 
From Airport:
 - Public transport: approximately 60 minutes ferry boat crossing. This service is run by the Alilaguna company. Arrival into Venice is at the Arsenale boat stop (approximately 320 metres from the Hotel).
 - Private transport (water taxy): In an intricate city like Venice is, you will enjoy the privilege of arriving by water taxi directly into the Metropole Hotel, using the unique canal entrance. From the Airport approximately 30 minutes boat crossing. This is quick, easy and naturally a bit expensive.
From Railway Station:
The public service is run by the ACTV company using waterbuses known as 'vaporetti' with numbered routes:
- No. 51 From Santa Lucia station: approximately 20 minute journey.
The name of the stop of destination is San Zaccaria which is situated approximately 283 metres from the Hotel.
- No. 82 To and From Santa Lucia station: approximately 40 minute journey taking the route along the Giudecca Canal (not the Grand Canal). Destination stop is San Zaccaria - Jolanda (approxiamtely 220 metres from the Hotel).
From Piazzale Roma:
Waterbus service operated by the ACTV company. From Piazzale Roma (Municipal Car Parking, San Marco, car-hire) the waterbus service is guaranteed using line No. 51 (approximately 20 minutes journey). Arrival Stop is San Zaccaria (approximately 283 metres from the the Hotel).
