From Airport Marco Polo:
As soon as you get out of the Marco Polo Airport, there is the landing stage where you have to catch the boat (a special shuttle) for the connection Aeroporto/Venezia. A private company (Alilaguna) organizes the transfer to the San Marco pier. It takes to it 1 hour 10 minutes to get in Venice itself, but you will enjoy your time watching the north part of the venetian lagoon. Once in San Marco Square, walking in direction of the Clock Tower " I Mori", immediately outside the Square, first right and second left, a small street on your right, "Calle Specchieri", you will find the Best Western Hotel Montecarlo.
From Railway Station Santa Lucia: Out of Santa Lucia train station, down the stairs, right in front of you, there is the landing stage where you have to catch the public boat N° 82 (vaporetto) and get off at Rialto. Walk all along the main street Mercerie and then Calle Specchieri. On number 463 you find the Best Western Hotel Montecarlo. |
