 Novecento Boutique Hotel has offers a small pretty courtyard at the rear of the hotel. When the weather is good, breakfast can be served in the small garden.
On the first floor of the hotel our guests find also an enchanting Morocco style drawing room where they can read, relax or have a cup of tea. The moment of the tea is in fact an important and widespread ritual in Arabic countries and in the whole North African culture. With its simple ingredients, tea, mint, sugar and water, it is an universal remedy for the body. To serve the perfect mint tea, it is best to accompany it with dry fruit, Libyan nuts or Tunisian pine nuts and typical North African tea cakes. |
Here is the original recipe: calculate one teaspoon of green tea per person, half of mint and three of sugar and a quarter liter of water per person. Boil the water, add the tea (not in bags) the sugar and the mint. Leave to cool for a little while, then serve. |
