What a wonderful find. The Novecento is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed. The staff were above helpful, always there with a smile and helpful advice. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The room although small, and in places could have been better lit - was so pretty. The lighting was dingy, but it was appropriate for the decor.
We would certainly stay at the Novecento again, and have already recommended it to our friends.

The directions were reasonably good but the price of the water buses had changed and also it is a bit difficult to locate the small 'street' the hotel is located on but we asked directions from a shopkeeper and so we got there with little trouble.

One hotel staff person in particular was very friendly and helpful with honest assessments on things to do and see. Also he was able to quickly fix a malfunctioning air conditioner which was great.

It is in a very good location- relatively close to the major sites, but on a quiet side street and away from the crush of tourists. It was an excellent choice.

We have stayed in this hotel in the past, so know what to expect.

we asked in advance for a particular room which was not available but with only nine rooms, that is understandable.

negative--rooms very small. poor lighting. take higher watt bulbs with you to read or put on make up.

Small, quiet, staff very accommodating.
We particularly like the location--can easily walk to anywhere. Sister hotel equally good and even better location for a less experienced traveler.
