... The prize/quality relation is the best I have ever seen in Italy. ... The breakfast is superior. ... Without any doubts, the best option to stay in Venice.

There are many stairs to climb when you arrive at the hotel. The owner was nice enough to greet us at the bottom and help us carry out luggage to our room. ... The owner was very helpful and recommended great places to eat and shop. We thought the location was perfect. It was bout a 10 min walk from the train station and a 4 minute walk to Piazza Roma (taxi and bus stop). We had to walk abou15-20 minutes to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco, but the walk is fun! There are so many shops and churches to visit on the way. We would recommend Palazzo Odoni to our family and friends!

The directions to the hotel were inadequate. The hotel is hard to find because there is only a brass plate on a large wooden door on Fondamenta Minotto to indicate where it is. This is unusual for a hotel! ... The hotel provides an excellent place to stay in Venice. I had a good room with a large bathroom. The staff are friendly and the service is good.
... The staff were kind enough to give me an unexpected small discount for making cash payment of the hotel bill. ... Perhaps there should be some warnings about the two flights of stairs that lead to the main hotel floor. Older people may find these hard to negotiate with heavy baggage. ... A quiet small hotel, centrally located, with well appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. It was a pleasure to stay there.

The rooms at Palazzo Odoni were very nicely decorated, the bathrooms modern and convenient. We enjoyed the traces of old palazzo amidst the modern comforts of the hotel. The staff was always gracious and helpful. ... It is a small, nicely decorated and well-maintained hotel in a quiet location, convenient to the car park, train station, and vaporetto stops.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and we loved our stay. ... The breakfast was really great and better than expected. ... Warm, friendly and on the quite side of Venice (meaning off the beaten path yet close enough to our sites of interest).

The wonderful owner even carried our bags up the stairs. The little things made the difference. ... The only negative part of the entire stay was that the maid kept turning off the air conditioning when he/she cleaned the room. It was very disappointing to come home to a 100 degree room. Our stay in Venice was during a heat wave and we hoped at least the room would be a cool. ... I would refer my friends to both Hotel Odoni and your web site. ... Charming hotel with modern amenities.

It was a very nice hotel and I would recommend it. We also appreciated the wide choice for breakfast! ... The breakfast, which offers a great variety that will satisfy Northern Europeans (who eat bigger breakfasts) as well as Southern Europeans. ... Very nice hotel in an old Palazzo in a bit of a calmer spot, although very close to everything including the bus and train stations. Great view from our room. Good breakfast!

Lots of mosquitos in our room! ... Beautiful room, great location, nice staff. The only downside was the mosquitos that attacked us while we slept.

Staff was accomodating. ... Night staff made accomodations for light breakfast since we left much earlier than buffet breakfast time. Helped make arrangements for water taxi from front door to airport. ... Charming, quaint, character.

I didn't receive the directions published online---so the hotel was abit difficult to find as we arrived in the pouring rain and it was hard to find someone who spoke English to help direct us to the hotel. ... it was fine---we really didn't see other hotels so it was difficult to compare what else would be available at a comparable price. It was a little out of the mainstream as far as a very convenient location.

Quintessential Venetian setting even down to the opera music wafting through the walls. ... Can't remember actually, if it did or didn't. ... Didn't need to. ... Requested room 5 and got room 6 - but it was fine. ... Quick, easy and accurate. ... Well located, palazzo with wonderful decor, friendly staff and a cheap mini-bar!!

Although it was easy to find the Fondamento the hotel is through a courtyard and when we arrived there were no lights visible in the building which made it difficult to spot. Once we had found the nameplate it was all very easy. ... Unfortunately because of the time of changeover of staff the person on reception the evening before we left was not prepared for our checkout, however he phoned his boss and very quickly had it all sorted out. ... Our room was quite small and well but minimally furnished but the ensuite facilities were absolutely excellent. ... Very convenient situation, easy to find on arriving in Venice and easy to find your way back to from anywhere in the city - by following the Piazzale Rome signs.

We arrived very early via train from Munich. We knew our rooms would not be available and that we would just leave our luggage behind for the day. However we wanted to freshen up and use the toilets, but there wasn't a lobby restroom to use which we were disappointed about. ... The staff working at night, although polite, did not have good English speaking skills and there was so confusion at check out regarding the bill. I left thinking the room would be charged to my credit card on file. In fact the other couple we were traveling with got billed twice, once for their room and once for ours. ... Not handicap accessable. You have to climb many stairs before you even reach check in desk. ... All in all, Palazzo Odoni was a wonderful place to stay. It was quiet, very close to the train station and the Vaparetto stop at Piazalle Roma, so therefore very convienient. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were updated and very modern.

Slightly hard to find as we didn't realise there would be no 'hotel' sign. We only found it by looking at the numbers, after walking way past, and spotting the brass plate outside. ... voucher mentioned a water taxi trip to Murano which we didn't have. It wasn't offered to us, but then we didn't ask. The language barrier made that difficult as our Italian is very basic. ... Quiet, nice position but expensive -although that may be what Venice costs

Their buffet-breakfast is so small, and some kinds of the pastries (such as croissants) always ran out in 30 minutes after the breakfast time started ! Sometimes mosquitoes bothered our sleep unfortunately. ... The staffs are always friendly and helpful.
