Facilities within the Hotel

 
The Hotel Locanda Ovidius has two wonderful balconies with a full view onto Gran Canal and Rialto bridge where you can spend sweets moments having a long drink and relax. Breakfast is served into a lovely room on the 2nd floor, overlooking Gran Canal, while on the 1st floor there is a very nice sitting room; both rooms have lovely painting, mirrors and Murano chandeliers.
 
The Reception is open 24 hours a day and you can send/receve fax and use internet. We offer to our guests a free complementary service to visit one of the most important glass factory in Murano Island and the possibility to book the car parking getting a discount on the garage's rates. Upon appointment you can reserve an individually massage and baby sitting service.

Beach: During summer it is possible to go to the famous beach of the Lido.
Visit to the local markets: the favourite market of the locals, it is crowded, picturesque and definitely worth a visit. You will be surprised by the vivacity, the ringing voices in the fish markets and the striking colours in the vegetable market.

One day tours
Murano: You may, among other things, visit the Murano glassworks in a private motor boat, board a gondola directly from the Riva del Vin below the hotel to visit the city, spend pleasant evenings at the symphony concerts offered by the city's numerous orchestras, and participate in many other initiatives.
