 Hotel Pausania is located between the Ponte dei Pugni and the Ponte delle Pazienze. It is very easy to reach even if it is your first visit to Venice and you are not used to the public transport here. The hotel is situated not far away from Santa Lucia railway station and from the bus station located at Piazzale Roma.
Coming from Marco Polo Airport to the Pausania, the easiest way by public transport would be Alilaguna to San Marco then by vaporetto to Ca' Rezzonico. From there you can get to the hotel all on the flat, and do not have to haul your suitcase over any canal bridges.
If you arrive to Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia train station you can take public boat number 1 until Ca' Rezzonico. Then you go through Calle del Traghetto until Campo San Barnaba. Once there you cross the square and on your right is Fondamenta Gherardini, the hotel is located 50 meters away from the square. |

From the Airport:
By private taxi boat directly to the hotel (cost for 2-4 persons with luggage approx. €. 85,00, time 25-30 minutes).
By taxi cab to San Basilio (cost approx.€ 35,00, time 20 minutes).
By public transportation: bus n°5 from Airport to Piazzale Roma (time 35-40 minutes) and then public boat line n°1 from Piazzale Roma to Ca' Rezzonico (time 25 minutes).
From Piazzale Roma:
By private taxi boat, directly to the hotel (cost for 2-4 persons with luggage approx.€ 55,00, time 15 minutes).
By public boat line n°1 to Ca' Rezzonico ( time 25 minutes).
From Tronchetto Parking Island:
Via private taxi boat, directly to the hotel (cost for 2-4 persons with luggage € 60,00, time 20 minutes).
Via public boat line n°82 to Piazzale Roma then line n°1 from Piazzale Roma to Ca' Rezzonico
From St. Lucia Railway Station:
By private taxi boat, directly to the hotel (cost for 2-4 persons with luggage approx. 55,00 €, time 20 minutes).
By public boat lines n°1 to Ca' Rezzonico (time 20 minutes).
