The directions were good and we didn't have too many troubles finding the hotel, once we had a map of Venice and could check the streets! The gentleman behind the desk was nice and he allowed us to have a pick of two rooms he had vacant, which was great because it meant we could get just the room we wanted! ... The hotel was very good, and was perfectly positioned for us, as we liked walking among the shops and down the alleyways. It was great to be close to San Marco and the atmosphere of the square during the day and at night, and to be close to some really nice shops and trattorias. ... The hotel is perfectly located for you to explore all the main parts of Venice. It is within easy walking distance of the main sites and activities and the 'buzz' of Venice. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are a good size. The staff are nice and unobtrusive.

Ideally situated and easy to find - being close to the vaporetto stop (a big plus when you just arrive with luggage!) and so near to St Marks Square with shops, restaurants, bars and cafes all close by.

The location of the hotel was ideal. The gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to inform us of what was happening in Venice during our time there. ... I'm not sure that you mentioned how close you were to San Marco Cathedral. That was a big plus to us because we could see it easily at all hours of the day and in addition, it was easy to return to the hotel because of the Venice signs leading to it. ... This hotel had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Venice. The location was very important to us and your hotel provided it.

The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside (like most hotels in Venice) but once inside it was clear that it was a clean and friendly hotel. ... Room was very clean and quiet but was quite small ... The location was fantastic. It could not have been closer to St Mark's Square yet, even though it was during the Venice carnival, the hotel was very quiet. ... An amazing location, easy to find and with easy access to water bus. Friendly staff, good breakfast and although the room was small it was clean and well maintained. For the price we paid we couldn't fault it in any way. I will certainly stay there next time. Highly recommended!

Nice little breakfast, served at tables in dining room. ... It was the most expensive we stayed at in Italy, but very reasonable for Venice. The location of the room to the water ferry stop was excellent. We only had to walk, less than 1/2 block and we were there. Very close to San Marco Square ... I think the location is excellent. We read many stories of people spending hours looking for their hotel and saw some doing this also. The hotel was so easy to find. We landed at airport, walked down to catch ferry and in no time we were in our hotel and had the whole afternoon to explore.
The only negative, is that breakfast didn't seem to change much, so if you were there a week, it may become repetitive.
When we paid by Visa, the Canadian amount was shown and we could lock in at that amount, which was the lowest exchange rate of anywhere in Italy. ... I would recommend this hotel. It was recommended to me, by two friends who had both stayed there at different times and I would certainly return the favour, by recommending to anyone going there.
