By Plane:
The airport of Venice is 50 minutes near here. You take the bus number 82 and get off at Piazzale Roma. Take the orange bus, number 5, the name is ACTV or you can take the private taxi water near the hotel in the Canal. Get off at Ponte di Rialto: cross the bridge and follow the street (about 200 meters) until Campo delle Beccarie, where the fish market is located. Locanda Poste Vecie is in San Polo 1612. If you prefer you can take a taxi, which will bring you directly to you at the Locanda Posta Vecie.
By Train:
The railway station is 15 minutes away. Take n° 82 and stop to the station or you can take a private water taxi, bringing you to Ponte di Rialto. From the bridge as above.
By Water Taxi:
From Piazza San Marco: take Mercerie dell'Orologio and Mercerie San Salvador, until Campo San Bartolomeo. Cross Ponte di Rialto and follow the street (about 200 meters), until the fish market. |
