Grazia was wonderful. She was very helpful and cordial. The accomodations at Palazzo Benzon were great. What a location!! The windows on the canal were a marvelous bonus! The no hassle attitude made our stay very enjoyable. As far as I'm concerned its the only way to stay in Venezia!!

Excellent location just off San Marco Square. The flat was very nice with plenty of room. The quality of hotel you would get for the price of this flat would be of much lower quality. I highly recommend this flat.

Area is a little noisy early in the morning due to proximity of markets; this should be pointed outon web site. Otherwise excellent value for money

The only reason no one greeted us was because we were early, but we called and they accomodated us very well.

Because of our late afternoon flight, we needed to leave our bags at the flat. this was not a problem. In fact all parties were very helpful.

We had a very nice time. It was very quite and well equipped. The sofas were very dirty though and I would not sit on them. They should be replaced. Also, we never had any hot water in the shower - good thing it was very hot in Venice that week. The air conditioning worked very well ans was necessary in the heat.

We needed to store our luggage for 8hrs and Mrs Gracia let us store our luggage in her office. She was very kind.

As we were arriving late, we asked if some groceries could be bought for us and this was done very obligingly.

The property was even more spacious than I expected, and was very clean. It was also well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

We were late leaving, and were allowed to use the apartment until our departure even though this was later than the agreed departure time. This was much appreciated.

No staff at the property. The Flat was in an
excellent location but it was rather dirty
and was in need of some maintenance. The sofa
bed provided let the place down in that it
was very dirty and needed to be thrown away.
In fact there was another sofa bed there
which was far better but there was no room to
use it. There was no hot water available
from the sink in the bathroom and the shower
could only be adjusted to scalding or
freezing.

The arrival was well-arranged and well-
executed. The staff member wasted no time in
pointing things out, collecting the fee, and
getting out of our hair. At first we thought
her extremely efficient. Shortly thereafter
we suspected it was because she did not wish
to be there to experience our increasing
displeasure over the apartment's
shortcomings (see comment below).

The apartment was equipped with an
absolutely filthy, broken, pull-out couch
which none of us, including my children, who
were expected to sleep on it, wanted to
touch. It's presence caused us to doubt the
state of cleanlines for the whole apartment.
For a good while this distracted us from the
otherwise enjoyable experience the apartment
and location eventually provided for us. It
was a gross misjudgement on the owner's part
and after we checked out I wrote to our
staff member to say as much. Did not hear
back.

The Santo Stefano apartment is in a
wonderful location with grocery stores and
many restaurants nearby. It provided us with
a truly enjoyable taste of the local
Venetian lifestyle. However, the current
condition of the apartment and its
furnishings seemed more akin to college frat
house dwellers than to travelling families
or self-respecting Venetians. A definite
pall on the experience.

The washing machine in the Apartment Widman was broken (this was one of the main reasons we booked the flat) and although we were promised that it would be fixed during our stay, it wasn't.

Since we arrived after 7 pm, we were given directions to the boat stop but once we got off, no one was there to meet us and we didn't have directions to walk to the flat. We had to go into a cafe and ask the patron to phone the person who was to meet us. He came within 2 minutes.

We had to pay an additional 55 Euro because of our late arrival and the need to hire someone to meet us.

It was clean, quiet and adequate for 2 to 3 people. Nicely situated for visiting major sites in Venice and close to the boat stops.

It was a little bit misunderstanding, because the flat was placed directly piazza San Marco in the map, but then the flat is really near the rialto bridge, but on the other side. I am sure, that you can change this for the next time on your site in the map for this flat.

The lady that met us, her name is Grazia, was very polite and explained everything we needed to know about our accommodation and gave us a map and leaflets.

Location was fantastic. Cleaniness could be improved and some of the furniture was looking tired and needed replacement. Otherwise it was a more than acceprable accommodation.

on th e website were 3 beds annonced, we needed
4 beds and it was no problem to get one more bed at the same price
