The hotel was lovely. Just 10 minutes walk along the promenade to St. Marks. Receptionist was welcoming and attentive.

The hotel was tastefully decorated and situated in a quieter part of Venice which was what we wanted.

Residenza ai Giardini is in silent residential area Castello. Atmosphere of an old city, narrow streets, linen on cords, cafe little tables on quay небоьшого the channel. Two minutes on foot to a mooring waporetto. You Feel at home. Very pleasant impression

It would be helpful to know which stop to go
to - Giardini or Arsenale and instructions as
we only had a Google map and got lost with all
of our luggage going up and down the canals!

Only part that concerned us was the moldy
ceiling in the bathroom
...
Perhaps say that there are two restaurants
close by and a bakery and coffee shop.

Quiet, clean, convenient to the vaporetto and
close to parks for a lovely jog along the
seawall. Friendly accommodating hosts.

Because I arrived in the dark I do not think I would have found it, had not the waiter at restaurant France? shown me. There was no sign on building at all.

I was very pleased with the accommodation in
all respects.

The only negative aspect of checking out was
that we had to go out for change as they
didn't have any.

The only window in our room had a view of a
wall - so when they say there is no view they
mean no view.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and in a good
location.

The accomodation was very clean and newly decorated.The staff was very friendly and polite. Although it seems to be off the main touristy track, it is a very short walk to the center and 2 minutes to the vaporetto stop. It had a very cosy atmosphere and being with the small child it was ideal as it was not crowded and felt very relaxed and cosy.

The telepone was not working, although I do not remeber whether it was on the list. Although the staff was helpful and allowed us to use interest instead at our convenience.

It is a very good value for money unless you are looking for an estanblished spacious hotel for a romantic stay, then rooms could be on the small side. Otherwise, it was clean, well-updated and staff was increadibly friendly.I would definitely come again.

Knowing how difficult it is to find addresses in Venice I had our previous hotel call up and get full directions for us just before arrival which was very helpful. This one was not too difficult to find.

This was a very clean and pleasant bed and breakfast away from the main tourist area which was what we wanted. It did not have the amenities of a Hotel in that there was only one member of staff who did everything and seemed not to sleep on the premises. There was no tourist information, but it was a decent bed for the night at a somewhat reasonable price. (I think that all hotels in Venice are overpriced).

Very nice room in a less frequented area, with good service (very basic breakfast). I would recommend it especially to visitors who already know Venice a little and don't need a lot of direction and information.
