The Residence da Ponte is located in Calle del Dose da Ponte, in Campo San Maurizio, very close to San Marco's Square, to the theatre "la Fenice" and to Accademia museum. The closest vaporetto stop is at Santa Maria del Giglio.
Please note that the check-in is at Locanda Barbarigo (Fondamenta Duodo/Barbarigo, San Marco 2503/A) from where you will be accompanied to the apartment. |
How to get to the residence:
From Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia Train Station take the "vaporetto" (waterbus) ACTV Line 1, stop at Santa Maria del Giglio (boat stop name); when you are in Campo Santa Maria del Giglio turn on the left, cross the bridge and always keeping the left side you'll get the "Fondamenta Duodo o Barbarigo", where our Locanda is situated (n° 2503/A).
If you arrive at Marco Polo airport you can take the Alilaguna boat driving you directly to St. Mark's Square (San Marco Giardinetti). For the time list and further information visit www.alilaguna.it.
From here you can:
- Take the line 1 ACTV public boat and get off on "Santa Maria del Giglio" (name stop) cross the little street in front of you and turn left and cross one bridge. You will be in "Fondamenta Duodo o Barbarigo" where our Locanda is situated (n° 2503/A).
- Or walk taking your left hand and go through the main street Via XXII Marzo, reach Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, cross the bridge in front of you. You wiil be in "Fondamenta Duodo o Barbarigo", cross this street and at the end of it, you will see the Locanda (n° 2503/A).
You can also decide to take a private taxi boat that in 30 minutes will reach the canal in front of the Hotel.
We suggest you to buy a 24hours or 72hours water-bus ticket, to save time and money. |
