 The Residenza Cannaregio at the beginning was a monastery of the 17th century, it has inherited the structure "a chiostro" with the typical internal court. In the first years of the 19th century it became a "squero" which was the place where they used to build gondolas; nowadays it has been transformed in a very modern and comfortable structure. |
 It is located in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and picturesque areas of the city, where still today is possible to find traditions of a popular Venice, few steps away from the Campo De Gheto Novo, the oldest Jewish settlement in Europe and not far from Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. |
 Thanks to the central position, the Aparthotel Cannaregio is easy to reach by public boats and is provided with a private access for the gondolas and water taxi on St. Alvise Canal.
