I already have, the stay and the hotel in Venice was first class. I will have the greatest pleasure in recommending your company as often as I can. ... Its so straightforward!! ... The best hotel in Venice because of it`s location, just a few yards from the Rialto waterbus stop and so central for walking around the entire city.

It's not the first time I booked through VeniceBy.Com. I already booked at Hotel Iris in February for myself and for a co-worker in April. I check the site every now and then for information. Or just to look at the webcam. ... A lovely big room with a view, just like requested. We had access to the room imediately, even though we arrived very early. ... I really like your site and I like surfing on it. It's very complete with all the photos and additional information. I have tried several hotels already and all the times I was very satisfied. ... Romantic! Especially because we had a room with a view to the Rialto Bridge and the Canal...

Clear, easy and quick. I think this is a great way to do things for an independent traveller, or someone like me who likes to know what they're getting and deal with everything themselves! ... I had emailed the hotel sometime prior to arrival and asked about a room with proximity to a lift, as my daughter has mobility problems at times. Not only did they provide the room nearest, but this was a superior room to the accommodation I had booked, and this was provided at no extra charge. So we had a fantastic view over the Canal Grande and the Rialto bridge, which was a real bonus. I was very pleased, and my daughter was thrilled to bits. ... The restaurant, as clearly stated, is closed in winter, but the area is used for brakfast for hotel guests. I have to say this was a little basic, although there was plenty of everything and no-one rushed you to finish. But it was exactly the same breakfast on each of the seven days we were there, which was a pity I thought. ... Because this was such an easy, straightforward way to book. It was confirmed within hours, the prices were clear and the photo gallery is an excellent idea. The website is easy to navigate, and very extensive. Anyone should be able to find what they are looking for easily. ... Lovely! - although being right next to the Rialto bridge we had to get used to the vaporettos chugging away most of the night, or the delivery boats starting at 5am! The hotel Rialto is perfectly placed to sightsee, and the rooms are very typically Venetian. The service was good, and very prompt if you asked for anything extra (pillows, in our case, which were with us within minutes. It is a pity thtough, that there is no bar - mini bar prices were typically over the top, but there are plenty of places to go even in December. It was a really lovely stay.

The hotel, room, and staff were of a higher caliber than I had expected. The staff went out of their way to help me when I had problems with my bank in the US, they faxed papers for me, etc. Every person who worked at the desk was professional and helpful. Our stay there was wonderful. Our room was larger than I expected, and we loved our Canal view!! ... Paid high rate, likely due to Carnivale season, and canal view, but hotel and room were very high quality ... Hotel is literally at stop on Grand Canal so no lugging your luggage around to get there. The breakfast was nice, in a large dining area, not the best hotel breakfast we had but adequate, nice selection and service. Also, as it is adjacent to the Rialto Bridge, when walking if we got a bit lost, we could always find and follow sign for Rialto and find our way back! ... Clean, classy hotel right on vaporetto stop, central location in Venice, wonderful staff-highly recommend!!

We only discovered that a 10% discount was offered in the restaurant by showing a card after we had paid for a meal. This should be pointed out when booking in to the hotel. Itwould encourage more people to eat in the restaurant ... A good, comfortable central hotel, right in the heart of Venice and convenient for exploring the city.

The Hotel Rialto is probably the best located hotel in the city. It is directly in front of the Rialto Vaperetto Stop and right beside the Rialto Bridge. You will never get lost at this hotel. ... We asked for a room with a balcony over the Grand Canal. We were given an absolutely stunning view. Our balcony was the closest balcony to the Rialto Bridge. The Room was not large (afterall this is Venice), but quite adequate. The shower was my wife's favorite part. It was strong and hot. ... Because of the location, it took us only 45 minutes to go from the hotel to the airport by public transport (Vaparetto and Bus). The front desk gave excellent directionis. ... This hotel was friendly, with an excellent location and a good continental breakfast buffet. It has a wonderfu (but hidden) terrace, with tables overlooking the Grand Canal. We recommend spending the extra dollars for a balcony over the canal. If you travel to Venice, you should have a view that you will remember.

we were greeted and pleasantly checked into our room immediately upon arrival. ... we were very pleased with our room overlooking the canal. it was nice being able to open the windows all the way to catch all the activities of the day and into the evening. it was also nice that when the windows were closed they provided a very sound proof and quiet room. ... a charming hotel in the hub of venice!

The guy on reception produced a map for us and highlighted 3 places of interest and how to get there. We found this very useful because he covered our preconceived main points of interest. ... The focal point for all sights of Venice.

We had no air-conditioner, let me re-phrase that. We had a air-conditioner but it barely blew air out. That was room 111. They very gladly moved us to 112 and said give the air-conditioner time and it will cool. Three (3) days later it was still hot not cool. I survived it but it's hard for me to pay that many Euros for a hotel where I was so uncomfortable in. I think Hotel Rialto would have been a nice hotel if the air-conditioner would have worked. ... If you go in July, make sure you get a room with an air-conditioner that cools.

Both Reception and Dinning Room staff were very pleasant and helpful; The Hotel provides a very good complimentary trip by water taxi to Murano and tour of Glass Factory 'Murano Gallery' most enjoyable.
Although no Hotel Bar open at this time of year the room mini-bar was well stocked and not expensive. The Hotel Rialto is a very high standard 3 star hotel - and it is in a superb location. ... Highly Reccommended

We stay in the annex and although I had been told it was the same as the hotel I don't feel that that was completely true.It certainly wouldn't have suited anyone elderly or disabled, as it was a reasonable distance from the hotel and up a long flight of very steep stairs. The room also had a very strange smell but fortunately after a few minutes you became accustomed to it. ... I think perhaps it should be made clear whether your room will have a view or not. We certainly didn't expect one as we were staying in the annex, but we had to move into the main hotel one night because the air conditioning in the annex broke down. ( I must say that the staff were very helpful and agreeable about moving us. It was extremely hot and it would have been impossible to sleep where we were). The rooms we moved to though in the hotel had no view. In fact one room had no windows at all.I think that I would have been disappointed if I had been paying a lot for those rooms. I got the impression from looking around the hotel that most rooms would not have had a view. ... It's a hotel in a great location but check carefully about where your room is located in the hotel. Check whether you have a view or at least a window.

It would be nice if the receptionists were more friendly. They were polite and efficient but a little effort to engage on a more personal level would improve the experience. ... We were in an adjacent building which seemed a bit cut off. The main hotel would have been preferable. THE ROOM WAS A DECENT SIZE AND VERY WELL MAINTAINED. ... EXPENSIVE BUT THIS SEEMS THE NORM FOR VENICE. ... Very good location.

I mentioned in advance that we were on our honeymoon and I was told that the hotel offered a champagne bottle upon arrival, but apparently this was not communicated to the hotel, I had to ask for it once we were in the room...
... Nice hotel with excellent location, outstanding view to the canal and Rialto brige from front rooms...

Apart from the 45 Euro Water Taxi journey to our hotel which we didn't account for (!) , our concierge who showed us up to our room hung around for ages, clearly trying to get a tip ! ... The Room was lovely and very romantic, clean and had lovely Venetian decor. Bathroom was in need of a makeover tho' and the air-conditioning did not work and the room was stiflingly hot. ... Very quick and easy. ... No. ... Very nice, good value for money and a fantastic location. We were only there for a short time and our hotel's location was perfect as we could walk to and from all the main sights within 10 minutes or so. We also did not know how difficult it was to navigate Venice, but luckily staying near the Rialto Bridge meant we never got lost !

We did request (twice), an early check-in, but that was not replied to or accepted. We arrived in Venice around 10am and were not permitted to check-in until 1pm, which, with 3 small children was not too convenient. Otherwise, okay. ... We were surprised that the hotel did not have room service or its own restaurant. ... The hotel was centrally located and very convenient for us to stay at, and with the exception of the check-in time and the lack of room service, we would recommend the hotel to others.
