Although the hotel was very close to the bus terminal, we had some difficulty in finding the correct street. A small map in the reservation confirmation would have helped. Otherwise it is very simple to get from the airport on the bus and very cheap as well.

It took us a few minutes to get our bearings on arrival at the bus station. Walking in the correct direction, from the first bridge it is possible to see ten bridges!!

Accommodation was as stated. The room was a little on the small side, but the furnishings and facilities were adequate as we were out most of the time. The stairs were a little bit of a challenge with luggage.

The location near the bus station was very good without noise or fumes. It was also very good to be able to get on the vaporetto at the start of its journey down the Grand Canal - quite spectacular.

Neat and comfortable. We would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone else visiting Venice.

Due to it being late evening, it was lovely
to be welcomed with a friendly face and so helpful.

The standards at the hotel were exceptional.
The cleanliness was to a very high standard.

The Restaurant was much better than expected.
We ate there one night and the food wasn't cheap but very good. The garden part was a lovely setting.

We have recommended this to 2 friends already as we really emnjoyed our stay.
We hope to return in the near future.

Lovely hotel. modern and spotlessly maintained. Located in a nice section of Venice, close to water taxis, and local restaurants and shops. Absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Venice.

We had a great room at a very reasonable rate, especially for Venice. The location was convenient as well. Our only negative comment has to do with the breakfast served at the next door restaurant, as a part of the deal. It definitely was NOT worth 8 Euros but everything else went so well that barely mattered.

It was late afternoon when we arrived with failing light; however we found Locanda Salieri with no problems.
The receptionist on duty when we arrived and on subsequent occasions was extremely charming and helpful.

We could not fault our stay with the Salieri, although my daughter was unable to get the towel radiator in her room working - her fault though. It was corrected next morning.

Certainly no negative details. Position great for arrivals into Venice.

A very pleasant one star hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast in adjacent restaurant. Very good location for access to buses and trains.

Room was smaller than I expected, and floors were not thoroughly swept. No bathrobes or TV in our room. Otherwise, it was what I expected from website. Bathroom was newly renovated and clean, although very small.

Modest rooms, newly renovated (tiny) bathroom, nice neighborhood. No elevator. Generally clean, except for dusty floors and a few ANTS in our room! Staff was friendly and helpful, although only day staff speak English. Breakfast completely inadequate for active travellers, but we bought our own yogurt, etc from a nearby bakery. Considering how expensive Venice can be, it was reasonable value and I'd consider staying there again.

We had requested a canal view if possible and had an email back to say that 'given time they could fix it for us'. However on arrival the room only had a view of roof tops and nothing was about not being able to arrange it.

The hotel was very clean but the room and shower room were very small and with the sloping ceilings felt a bit cramped. The breakfast next door was fine and it is nice to sit in the 'garden' for this. We saw 3 differnt receptionists in 3 days who were willing when asked to help, but didn't go out of their way. Very good location.

I'm not sure if you say that breakfast is next door. ie you have to go outside briefly to get to the restaurant. Not that it matters really. There is no communal place to meet other guests in the hotel. The reception area is minute.

I would say on the whole it was good value for money given it is Venice. It is absolutely fine if the weather is good but if you need to spend time in your room ask for the rooms with balconies - these are the biggest. I would tell them of the great position - only 5 mins walk from Vaparettos and more importantly where the bus drops you with your suitcase! Also it is a quiet area.

The desk attendent was extremely helpful in obtaining train information and was flexible with our check out as we were travelling with a young child and had a later train. His kindness and helpfulness were appreciated.

I have actually recommended it to a friend who will be staying at the Locanda Salieri. I described it as being very clean, with new bathrooms and simple decor. The services are limited but for a reasonable (price), clean, bright room the Locanda Salieri is a good choice.

Might emphasize how good the restaurant is - the Locanda is just basic (and very comfortable) but the restaurant is elegant and top notch.
