Murano, like Venice, is composed by
a series of small islands connected by bridges and is the centre
of the glass making from 1291, when the artisan moved from Venice
to avoid fire danger.
The main attraction of Murano is a
visit to one of its artisan shops to assist a demonstration of the
glass-blowing tecnique through which real masterpieces of glass
are created.
