About the best way to reach Ca' del Dose, our second B&B, where you have just the check in (that is located at about 15metres closed by Palazzo Soderini, that is located in Campo Bandiera e Moro; then we bring you to the Palazzo) I suggest:
-from Venice Piazzale Roma and from Train Station, the best boat is the n.51, till San Mark's Square (stop San Mark's San Zaccaria) in twenty minutes; get off, walk on your right, across three little bridges, after the third one take on your left a street called Calle del Dose where you have Ca' del Dose's office at n.3801 for the check in (then we bring you personally to the Palazzo).
-from Marco Polo Airport you can get the boat ALILAGUNA (red line) till San Mark's Square (stop San Mark's Arsenale): get off, walk on your left, across one bridge and the third street on your right is Calle del Dose (in less then two minutes by walking) where you have Ca' del Dose's office at n.3801 for the check in; or the blue line till San Mark's-San Zaccaria: get off, walk on your right and the first street acrossed three bridges, is Calle del Dose (two minutes);
-from Treviso Airport you have the ATVO blue bus till Venice Piazzale Roma. In particular, if your flight is with Ryan Air, the bus is labelled Ryan Air Blue Bus and is timetabled to coincide with arriving flight. You can buy the ticket from the bus kiosk inside the airport and you have to stamp it at the small yellow machine by the airport building. The journey to Venice Piazzale Roma takes about one hour; then I suggest to get the fastest boat n.51.
About the car parking you have different choises: -Garage Comunale and Garage San Marco, both in Piazzale Roma (last mainland part in Venice); the! n from Piazzale Roma (but also from the Train Station), you have to get the boat n. 51, till San Mark's Square (stop! San Mark's - San Zaccaria in twenty minutes); get off, walk on you r right, across three little bridges, and the first street on your left after the third bridge is CALLE DEL DOSE; -Tronchetto Park: then you have to get the boat n. 82 till San Mark's-San Zaccaria; -Garage Comunale in Mestre, mainland of Venice (in front of the train station), then you can get the train or the bus for Venice, till Piazzale Roma. |
