We arrived in the evening and that was like Wonder Land. We find easy the location with voucher directions. ... Palazzo Soderini is like 'ombelico del mondo'. You must try it. But please enjoi this place with tour wife. ... We take-off very early in the morning and that allow us to check-out friendly. ... Maybe a big TV. ... It's the best place were you want to stay when you visit Venice.

A nice, quiet oasis in walking distance to San Marco. The garden invites for a relaxing break and provides a beautiful start in the morning while having breakfast there. The rooms are spacy, bathrooms are stylish and newly made. The square in front is full of live during the day and romantic quiet during the night. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming! ... Manuel, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and willing to take the time to share his local knowledge of places to see, places to eat, etc. If only all hotel/accommodation owners were this good!
The small number of rooms means you are not just a number! Compared to a larger hotel there is no noise, endless waiting at receptions, etc. Bliss! ... A real find! Only a few minutes walk from the centre of Venice, but away from the crowds. Accommodation was excellent; clean, spacious, secure and with very helpful and polite staff. The garden was a real bonus! A relaxing haven of peace to plan your day out in Venice and a wonderful setting for breakfast in the mornings!

when we booked, palazzo soderini was not available and i was offered an alternative site. i was not sure what i would find since it had not been rated and was not on the website, but we were so pleased and found the accomadations just as promised. ... Ca d' dose was a great place...close to the public transportation stop, very close to san marco square and the rooms were perfect. We had large room for my husband and I and a smaller room for my daughter with a bathroom, all for less than one room in area hotels. There was a 'packaged breakfast', instant coffee and pre packaged rolls, but we knew that and had an a excuse for a cappuchino at a local bakery each morning! In all, I would reccommend this hotel to others, especially families and those who want to pay a little less fot the hotel and save for the shopping!

we experienced some problems with the airconditioning system but otherwise the room was very nice ... Excellent value for the money, delicious breakfast, fantastic location with interesting sidestreets where you can mingle with Italian families and stop for a expresso or glass of wine enroute to Saint Mark's square

When we reached the square we could not see the hotel sign, so we were unsure where the hotel was. ... Everyone we met was very helpful and friendly ... A place of quite refuge from the busy streets of Venice, private and friendly with a lovely garden, we would recommend it. Small and reasonably priced.

However the room appeared to be unfinished, that is you could see under the walls to the wall behind. Also the shower was very annoying as the shower screen allowed water to soak the floor outside it. ... Adequate, maybe a little sterile, at first I thought I was checking into a hospital ward when I walked into the room.

my only complaint was that the breakfast lacked fresh fruit and cheese but otherwise it is a lovely place to stay ... The rooms do vary--on this visit i was on the back which had 2 large windows whereas last year i stayed in room 1 which had no window ... i have recommended it to many as a modern, stylish and comfortable 'good find' in Venice

Overall a good stay. Constructive comments are; too many mosquitos. We were woken every night. Breakfast tables too close to each other. Sometimes you just wont to sit without feeling you have to talk to the other guests. We ate breakfast out on 3 of the 4 days for this reason. Staff excelent. ... Convenient and modern. Plenty of space. Nice people to deal with who left you alone but were there when needed.
