In Venice there are municipal swimming pools (Rari Nantes).
Beach:
During summer it is possible to go to the famous beach of the Lido with the boat which stops at the Arsenale just near the apartment.

Murano: the main attraction of Murano is a visit to one of its artisan shops to assist a demonstration of the glass-blowing tecnique through which real masterpieces of glass are created. |
 Burano: the most picturesque of the Lagoon Islands, is situated in a northern lonely part and is visible from the distance because of its high bell tower. Here is still developed lace handicraft and this tradition led to found a professional school called "Scuola dei Merletti". Is very difficult to find original lace of Burano because the expensive specimens require weeks of hard work.
