By Plane:
From the Marco Polo International Airport take waterbus service “Alilaguna” route Laguna Nord (north lagoon), get off at the Fondamente Nuove stop, follow the indications for San Marco (St.Mark’s) until “Campo S.Maria Nova”, then turn left for the “Ospedale (Hospital) SS.Giovanni e Paolo”, then “Salizzada SS. Giovanni e Paolo” until you reach “Barbaria delle Tole” there you will find the Locanda in “Calle dell’Ospedaletto” (the route on foot takes about 10 minutes).
By Train:
From the “Piazzale Roma” or from the “S. Lucia” Railway Station: take the public waterbus line number 52 (every 20 minutes) get off at the Ospedale Civile SS. Giovanni e Paolo stop, take the bridge on your right, go around the Hospital following “Fondamenta dei Mendicanti” until you arrive at “Campo SS.Giovanni e Paolo”, then take “Salizzada SS.Giovanni e Paolo” until you reach “Barbaria delle Tole” and you will find the Locanda in “Calle dell’Ospedaletto” (the route takes about 5 minutes on foot).
From “Piazzale Roma” or the “S.Lucia” Railway Station (1): take the public waterbus line number 1 (stopping at all the stops) or line number 52 (direct), get off at the S. Zaccaria stop (Hotel Danieli), take “Calle delle Rasse” and follow the directions for “Ospedale SS.Giovanni e Paolo” (Hospital), enter “Campo S. Maria Formosa” and, at the right of the Campo, take “Calle S.Maria Formosa” until “Calle dell’Ospedaletto”, where you will find the Locanda (the route takes about 10 minutes on foot).
From the “Piazzale Roma” or the “S. Lucia” Railway Station (2): take the public waterbus line number 1 (stopping at all the stops) or line number 82 (direct) get off at the Rialto Bridge stop, pass through “Campo S.Bartolomeo”, take “Salizzada S. Lio” following the indications for the “Ospedale SS.Giovanni e Paolo” (Hospital), enter “Campo S.Maria Formosa” on the right, take “Calle S.Maria Formosa” until you arrive at the “Calle dell’Ospedaletto” where you will find the Locanda (the route takes about 10 minutes on foot).
It is possible moreover to arrive directly in “Campo SS.Giovanni e Paolo” by private water-taxi from any part of Venice.
