Fabulous view over the Grand Canal from the Breakfast Room.

You should definitely mention the fact that there is no lift, and because the Hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building, there are a lot of steps to climb - 69 in fact !
All my party are in good physical shape so it was not a problem. However, elderly or infirm visitors would find it very difficult.

Excellent hotel, in an ideal situation. Friendly and helpful staff.
Quiet, well furnished rooms in good condition.
I would definitely stay there again.

I thought the staff was very helpful. In fact, they were letting everyone know that there was going to be a vaparetto strike the following day so people can plan to work around the strike.

They helped me find a laudrymat and were always waiting at the top of the stairs with a bottle of water for the stair climber.

In addition, they had a computer available and I was able to stay in contact with my family during my trip.

I am always a little nervous about photos that appears on web sites for hotels. So, I feel the room was better that expected. The room was bigger than I expected and the bathroom was just fine.

Wonderful small hotel right at the Rialto bridge. Very easy to find right near a landmark. The rooms are larger thatn a typical Italian hotel room. Absolutely wonderful view from the rooms overlooking the Grand Canal, and from the common dining room too. Staff is very helpful. Staying at the Locanda Sturion makes your trip more memorable.

We had plenty of luggage so hauling them up the four flights of stairs was difficult.

The computer was out of order.

1) Great location. 2) Warn that the hotel is on the top floor with no lift. 3) It's a historic hotel dating back to the 1300's. 4) They have a video camera pointed at the Rialto Bridge that you can view on the TV set from your hotel room.

A historic and quaint hotel in the heart of Venice.

The 4 flights of stairs with suitcases was unbearable. They should either put in an elevator and have someone on staff to help with baggage. Otherwise the accomodations were very nice.

The directions to the hotel were not that clear. I was expecting the hotel entrance to be on the canalside and not down the sidestreet.

The steepness and number of stairs to reception were not mentioned in the hotel description. Thankfully we are relatively fit. There should be a warning so that less able bodied people are not disappointed.

I can't remember the contents of the voucher. I thought we were going to be in a room, with a view over the Grand Canal.

The breakfast was very disappointing.

We have stayed in hotels in Verona, Bologna & Porto for much less money, which had better facilities and provided much better breakfasts.

The bread was stale and there was no hot food, such as eggs.

As much as we enjoyed our weekend in Venice, we will not use this hotel again.

I had no wish to make a fuss at the time, as I did not wish to spoil the weekend of my gilrfriends 40th birthday.

She was very pleased with the flowers and champagne, for which I thank the staff of the hotel.

The Hotel is on the fifth floor and that came as a surprise to me, since there is no elevator, I think you should state this in unambiguous terms. I am sure elderly people would have problems with this.
