 The Majestic Inn is located in the wonderful St. Mark's square, one the most beautiful in the world.
The layout of this breathtaking square can be traced to the 12th century, but the style is definitely Renaissance. The square stretches in front of the Basilica of San Marco in a trapezoidal shape enclosed by the arches of the Procuratie. The façade and the two columns of the Palazzo Ducale (1442) elegantly lead the visitor to the docks. The celebrated Bell Tower rises up next to The Majestic inn. Facing the inn on the other side of the square is the Caffè Florian - a historic coffee shop founded in 1720 as the "Venezia Trionfant" by Floriano Francesco. |

By Car: we suggest you to let your car in Piazzale Roma and then take the line 1 or 82 to Vallaresso Stop (San Marco).
By Train: from the S.Lucia railway station you can take the line 1 or 82 to Vallaresso Stop (San Marco).
By Plane: from Venezia Marco Polo airport you can get the Alilaguna public transport to Vallaresso Stop.
From the Vallaresso Stop: cross San Marco square and take the street called Mercerie under the clock tower (at the corner with the bar Caffe Americano). Go straight and than take the first street on your right called Calle Larga San Marco and in front of the boutique "Elite" at the number 286 there is The Majestic. |
