The Majestic was what I expected. The rooms were very comfortable and had plenty of space.
If I could point out one thing that would help a first time guest, that would be to clearly mark the outside of the Majestic with signs designating the building. It was hard to realize the building amoung other buildings.

The receptionest failed to ask me for the room key. I mailed it back from my other location upon arrival.

I have nothing but positive comments for the manager/owner, he was most friendly and positive. We liked him very much.

Everyone was friendly. I felt welcome and not as an everyday guest. We were treated with the very best courtesy. I would go back there.

Absolutely Charming! Excellent Staff!
Easy to find as in a famous location and near the water bus stop from the airport.

Very Clean, lovely modern rooms, great privacy as we stayed in the seperate annex with a view over the square.

Amazing central location. Excellent as all over Venice signs show you you the home to San Marco Square. So you are never lost.
It's a brilliant place to stay and definately worth it for a first trip to Venice.

I took my husband for his birthday and we had a fantastic time. Venice now ranks as our favorite city in Europe. So much to do!
We spent 6 nights at the majestic and everything was great there. Very quiet and romantic, even though our room looked onto san marco square. The Bells wake you up but it's a great alarm call around 9am. We then had breakfast delivered to our room every morning at our specified time, free of charge. You can also eat in the main building if you wish.
David at the majestic was extremely helpful if you want any advice, but they leave you in privacy. Great Place to stay and I was pleased I picked the majestic as there are so many to choose from, but for the price I certainly didn't walk past anywhere else, wishing we had stayed there.

The Majestic is a small hotel with no obvious sign outside only a small brass address plate. It is almost impossible to find with your e-mail instructions, even those people working in shops nearby didn`t seem to know where it is.A very frustrating start to the stay.

A useful addition to their services would be some form of coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The dining room is very small and cannot accomodate all those staying at the hotel; it would be useful to have a booking system the night before so that guests and staff would know when they were being served their breakfast.

Regarding directions - it would be helpful if the directions indicated that the hotel entrance is a narrow door with only a small sign.

I would strongly recommend that there should be a kettle availible for the use of making coffee or tea in the hotel.

The Majestic is a pretty little contemporary hotel in an exceptional area. The pictures on your site were correct. Our St. Marks Square view was incredible and the beds were very comfortable and we loved the jacuzzi tub and the flat screen TV. The breakfast was just perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. It is a little hard to find, a small street map would help. I went on several sites to get the exact location, so it was no problem for us. It is a 2 floor walk up, but the staff helped us with our luggage. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you.

It is not cheap , but for the modern accommodations, hard to find in Venice,and the spectacular location, it was well worth every penny.

We had a wonderful time and the hotel made it better. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all friends and family who intend to stay in Venice. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were immaculately clean and the breakfast was very good.

Was a lovely hotel in an excellent location, our room looked out onto St Mark's Square. The breakfast is great (hot croissants and hot rolls etc) which is served in your room.

It was over looking Saint Marc square with a fantastic view all day. The accomodation was presented well, with a well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar. The breakfast was more than just a continental, the options were numerous. the staff took time to talk to you and were always polite and it was an absolute god send having your own key so you could come and go as you pleased. Overall the accommodation helped to make this a very memorable stay, in a beautiful location.

I will recommend this place to friends. I loved being so close to St. Marks. I could open my window in the morning and look out on the square. The rooms were also much larger than others we stayed in on our trip.

We had asked for a twin bed, but got a double. However, since the hotel allowed us to check in early, we didn't mind taking the room. I would highly recommend this property, and will stay there during my next visit to Venice.

It is hard to find. The address states it is on the square but you actually enter the hotel from a little street behind the square. this should be clarified.
