 Only 24 meters from the Clock Tower (Torre dell'Orologio), well known as the principal doorway leading into the famous St Mark's Square. The construction of the Tower was intentional from the Senate of the Republic in order to receive the new clock, in substitution of that one already on the facade of the Basilica of Saint Mark. The Building was realized between 1496 and 1499 on plan of Mauro Condussi. |
