The breakfast could have been a little bit more diverse. The choice was quite limited and remained identical throughout our stay. ... The owners prefer if customers don't arrive after 10pm. Having said that, they accommodated our midnight arrival, but if we had known that this might cause a problem (through the website, for example) we would have made other arrangements. ... Ca' Turelli is in a quiet, very pretty and moreover convenient location. It served us very well as a base from which to explore his enchanting city.

Although the lady did not speak much English and seemed to be suffering from a bad head cold, she made every effort to welcome us and showed us to our rooms. ... We were very comfortable and the room had such interesting antique furniture. Our room looked out onto a garden and close by someone was practising clssical piano. It was enchanting. ... Our room was much bigger than we expected and in fact the building is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Very clean and freshly painted. Quite delightful. ... It was exactly what we wanted. Comfortable and clean with enough modern conveniences to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast was continental style and there was plenty of choice. Close to all the major sights and mostly walking distance to them. For longer trips the water bus stop was very close by in either direction. We loved wandering the streets and canals at night and felt very safe. Highly recommend it as the place to stay in Venice.

It was very good. the room was very dark as it was extremely close to another building but although this meant you had no view on the other hand as the shutters were closed the room was cool.

Good value for the cost. ... A good value in a well-maintained building. Excellent location. Comfortable, quiet, scenic, and withing easy walking of most tourist attractions.

Breakfast was disappointing on the second day, yesterday's rolls (but fresh croissants) and although we were told breakfast was from 8.30 - 9.30 the owners only arrived with yoghurts, fruit at 9.45 - perhaps a one-off blip. ... We had an evening flight and were unable to leave our bags there, probably asking too much of a bed and breakfast but would have been useful. Left luggage facilities were used at the railway station. ... Very good bathroom which was very recently refurbished. Own key to front door so could come and go as we pleased. ... Good sized room, great bathroom, breakfast OK. Great value though compared to Venice hotels. Quiet location, but plenty near enough to the sights.

Our room was lovely though the bed was quite firm! Breakfast was minimal. ... A small charming B&B which made us feel as if we were guests in a home not tourists in a big city. The location was good, secluded but easy access to vaporetto.

arrival experience was good. we arrived late,(22.00), and there was someone there to organise the arrival. ... we had a good big room,Last on the right in the corner. we had a quick peep at the others and a couple smelled of tobacco and were small. However we would certainly come again if we had the same room as the location is superb, and one has complete freedom of movement with the key to the door. The breakfast is a bit disappointing, but we understand this is not france, with croissants, etc. However if you could just provide some fresh fruit that would be fine. ... there was a bit of a problem about how long we could leave our bags after checkout, but nothing major and the staff were good. ... the location is superb if you want to stay in an area where the venetians live and go about their day to day business. parallel to the street is a gondola workshop, and an endoceta which is to die for ....you have to go there to experience it. The local church does superb concerts as we discovered on a very wet day . You shouls also mention that the vaporetti 51 and 61 from piazzale romanne are reliable and it's so easy to get to the hotel from zattere. ... That would depend on the friend, but most of thr above would apply. In general, i would recommend it.

I had a change in plans before departure from Canada. I tried to contact Ca Turelli through you and on my own to let them know that my flight had been changed to arrive very late and to see if it was possible to have another night on our stay. It was very difficult to do through your site. Directions from the web site were not very good. Venice is confusing on a good day. My wife and I are very good with directions ,but the map that we downloaded from your site was very weak at best as well as the written directions to this establishment were not very good. Once we found the location the accomodations were great. The staff was very friendly and it was a pleasure to stay there. Thanks ... Enjoyed our stay. It was convient , and easy to access anywhere in Venice. Only one negative thing. The bed was very very firm. Could have been a little softer. Staff was wonderful. Would recommend this establishment to anyone. ... Better directions. Written and a better map. ... It was a very beautilful establishment, staff was friendly and helpful. Not far from a vaperetto stop which will get you to where you are going in Venice. Great Italian restraunt on the walk to this place. It is a ten minute walk from the vaperetto stop. Except for the one bridge on the walk to this place, it is easy if you have rolling luggage. Older people may have a problem lifting their luggage over the bridge.

The person who welcomed is not finctional in english, so we could not ask her any questions regarding the services in the hotel. She then called the owners of the hotel, they were very helful. But the person at the B&B who welcomes us should speak english in a way to help her guests. ... The person who welcomed us was not polite after the 1st day and seems annoyed by our questions. But the owners were always useful when we called them for answers to our questions. The shower was not made funcitonnaly since the water kept running on the floor. Should be corrected. ... We are really happy about this B&B, even if the lady who was there was not nice all the time. We will recommend this hotel but will inform opur friend that they should not expect a lot of help from this lady. Venise is wonderful. Thank you for your web site, really useful. ... See my comments above.

The stay in Ca'Turelli B&B is great and we have a wonderful time there in Venice. The only thing is that the location to the B&B is not very clear and maybe you could include what number water-bus to take there.
Thanks and anyway we have a great time and I am going to recommend it to my boss.
... See above ... The direction of looking for the B&B as in Venice there are many street. ... Yes.

There is a fairly long flight of stairs which make it difficult to haul heavy luggage up to the room (no lift).
Near the San Basilio Vaporetto stop & the Venice Maritinme Adinistration facilities where (smaller) cruise ships often dock...but a long walk to the San Marco area. Few shops in area.
... A simple place with simple breakfasts and a hostess who seems strict.compulsive about details. The location was good relative to our needs, near the Vaporetto stop and the basin where our cruise ship was docked (S.Basilio).

Very nice rooms, clean and spacious. People friendly. Also very well situated for exploring Venice, while in a quiet neighbourhood. Can certainly recommend.

Accommodation was very good. It was a pity the room overlooked another building. It was a bit difficult to communicate as the receptionist only had a few words of English and we had only a few words of Italian. ... Basic but comfortable.

We wanted to see the room before signing a check in sheet, but the woman didn't understand what we wanted, so we had to sign and then go up to the room....thankfully it was a nice room. ... I received e-mails from someone calling himself Matteo Ca'Turelli before arriving in Venice. He said that his mother would be there and she didn't speak English. Well, when we arrived and the entire time that we spent there an Indian woman took care of us and she couldn't speak English. I expected an Italian woman. It was kinda strange. ... We were asked to pay the day before checking out. ... It was in a very good location in Venice. Near everything!
