Directions excellent, had no problem following them (unlike some others we experienced in Italy). Were met exactly at the time we had arranged. Explanation of the working of the appartment good, and the description of the neighbourhood (location of supermarket and internet cafe) very helpfull.

Since it was an apartment, there were no staff on site, but we got the impression when we checked in that if there were prolems we were welcome to contact the owners who would be pleased to help.
One complaint, lighting in the main room was very poor and should be improved. We had to bring lamps in from the bedrooms and remove a couple of lampshades to give us enough light at night.

A great apartment - central, clean, comfortable, quiet and of a high standard. Well equipped kitchen. Beds and bathroom good and the whole apartment clean, well presented, and well maintained. Noise was not a problem. Great location, close to all the main sites and with all the food (restaurants and supplies) and bars likely to be needed were close by. Loved the apartment, the location and Venice in general. Venice Holiday Apartments very efficient and no problems at all. Directions to the location very clear, and check-in was easy and efficient. Highly recommended.

the directions on how to get to the apartment were so good that we got there 5-10 minutes before our scheduled meeting.

we enjoyed it immensely. The room was the perfect size for 2 and the view was incredible. The only thing that we could even mention as being not perfect was the bed. the twin matresses slid apart and my wife often ended up in the 'crack:. kind of amusing, but some simple straps or something might keep them together. The shower was a little tempermental with the hot water. It would be hot for a couple of minutes then it would go cool, then after a couple more minutes it would get hot again. Not a big deal.

No. I think that you state the proximity to Campo S.Margherita and the San Rocco complex. That was wonderful. We enjoyed a concert at the Friari, and the Scuola had an opera. That was very cool. the little campo the apartment was on was very peaceful as well. One night 2 violinist and a celloist came a practiced in the campo and we brought a bottle of wine out to listen. Very romantic. It felt very good to be far from San Marco and yet 'around the corner' from cool places. We loved the location.

We have described it over and over to friends and family. It was wonderful. The size was great. The oppotunity to cook was awesome. The view from the kitchen as the sun set was beautiful. The location, with proximity to the slower paced streets as well as the more lively San Rocco Complex and Campo S.Margherita, was perfect. We loved it so much we started picking up real estate brochures.... some day we want to have a place in Venice.

We were very pleased with the apartment. The sofa which is also the fold out sleeper is very worn out. We did not use it. We would stay there again. Great location. new bathrooms. They really need to replace the sofa sleeper. It's not comfortable to sit on.

It was my first time to Venice, and the city was a bit difficult for a first timer. The direction was clear for me to get there (will be helpful if a map is included in the direction).

The inside of the apartment is complete. It is nicely equipped with all appliances and utensil.
The outside of the apartment is not as pleasant, there is a smell in the hallway which cannot be masked. (there is not much the owner can do to change the surrounding).

It is a spacious apartment in a convenient location. Once you get through the smelly outside, the apartment is in great shape. You cannot actually smell it in the apartment. The dark alleys are not giving enough sunlight to the apartment but this is pretty normally in Venice old town. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay

We stayed in Madonna and I wasnt aware of the reduced headroom in the upper bedroom however that did not detract very much. Also there were a few shortages of crockery that I would have preferred to be there. Main missing item was toilet paper.The most important problem was the stair carpet being loose that could be dangerous .

I thought I read on your website it was 30 euros for cleaning, but I may have been mistaken. However I did think that 50 euros was a little expensive.

The apartment was superb, and perfectly situated.
We had a wonderful time, it was a magical experience.
The company made booking easy, even e-mailing the day before to confirm arrival details.
I should certainly use the company again.

Of course, arrival in Venezia is also a little difficult with the vaporetto, walking dragging luggage, bridges, etc. But I drove to Pia. Roma and it was a little frenetic considering I had to turn the car into Hertz, handle the luggage, etc.

It would be helpful if the living/dining area had reading lamps. Since we didn't speak Italian, unfortunately, could not watch TV and could not read in that area - had to retire to the bedrooms to read.

We were able to find an ideal location for our short break quickly and easily. We will recommend to friends and family and will probably use the site again for similar holidays in other cities.

We were given clear e-mail instructions about finding the apartment. Due to the nature of the rental and location a road map on your web site is not applicable.

Some of these questions don't apply. It was an apartment so there was no staff on hand except at check-in and check-out. I want to state that on your web site it says there is a washing machine in the apartment (under facilities information). When I e-mailed to confirm I was told there was. However, there is a DISH washing machine, not a CLOTHES washing machine. That needs to be made very clear on the web site.
The apartment could have been a little bit cleaner. It wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't spotless.

See my notes above. Also, a few more towels provided would be helpful and the kitchen is very poorly equipped for even the lightest cooking. It needs a good knife, a tea kettle, and a couple more pots and pans.

concerned about broken cupboard in lounge area, glass hanging out frame completely split receptionist commented on it upon our arrival. Was told not to try opening it as unsafe. Saucepans and frying pan broken so was only able to use one of them. Having said that the situation of the apartment was very convenient!

Perfect location for Venice-for Carnivale being so crowded and noisy-this was in the perfect place to be away from it all. The apt was warm and cozy with great views of a canal and the courtyard-would absolutely stay there again.

As our flight was arriving very late in Venice, our son who was already in Italy met Monica in Venice to check into the apartment. She was very nice, was there to meet him as promised, and was very accommodating.

The Rialto apartment was excellent. Very clean and in a wonderful location -- convenient but away from the noisy, busy areas of the city. We were very comfortable and will recommend it to all of our friends.

Instructions assumed we arrived from airport by road, but we used the waterbus (slower, but far more pleasant). This caused some confusion from Rialto Bridge.
Perhaps consider offering as a chargeable option a 'welcome pack' of some basic groceries?

The apartment only has a microwave oven and I don't think you can bake with it. There is no dishwasher and the toaster is not automatic so it is very easy to burn the toast. Also there is no washing machine or line to hang out washing.

Good exept for 'No Oven or Grill* which was a disadvantage when we got an oven baked pizza!! Ha Ha
and could'nt find an oven. Ok except we think it should be mentioned on web site as if a family stays they may not want to eat out every night and need to know about the limited cooking facilities. Also needs more microwave cooking dishes to compromise.

In some cases the map and directions are not quite clear. I suppose for Venice this is particularly difficult, but also it is very important in choosing a location. Further text instructions for 'how to get there' were fine, in any case.

The apartment was better than we could have imagined in terms of style, size and position. I would like to book it again except that the only double bed is a futon, which is very hard and my husband would not sleep on it. The only small compaint I had with the apartment was that we were let in at 3.15 and the cleaner was still there, but the bathrooms were filthy, sinks not cleaned at all.
None of the above prevents us having a wonderful holiday and i will definitely recommend your website.

The printed instructions from Roalto to the apartment were WONDERFUL - very accurate and the better than those from other companies.

Not sure if there was SAT TV - or only lcal stations.
We were advised that the airconditioning had to be turned off by 11pm as the noise from it would annoy the other tenants. I don't think that this at all acceptable. It was cool when we were there, so we didn't have to turn it on - but in the hot summer, it will be ESSENTIAL to have it on throughout the night. There is noise from the upstairs people walking around, and from the roofing renovations outside the kitchen window - so I don't think the aircondtioner rule should be enforced.

An apartment right in the centre of Venice, therefore ideal location for all tourist attractions. Good facillities nearlby for simple self catering - bakery, deli, produce market and wine shop. It would help to have map/directions to a full-size supermarket and a laundry. Excelent for a couple with one child. There are also two fold-down single beds and a sofa bed, but if used, the apartment would be very cramped. Quite dark inside.

The kitchen facilities were not very good; there were very few cooking utensils and no coffee maker or pot to make tea. Also the dishwasher was not working properly. Otherwise, it was fine.

We were pleasantly surprised that the flat had in fact 2 bathrooms - this was not clear from the online description and more people would be inclined to book the flat if they knew this. It would help to give the name of the very narrow calle which is the one to take on crossing the main street - we missed it at first thinking it was too narrow to follow.

Right next door to a noisy restaurant and apartments. Uncomfortable beds and problems with electricity and hot water.
Good location and very well priced in comparison with hotels in the same area.
