Boat tickets for moving in Venice: For holidays 1-3 days: 24-48 hours or 3 days ticket: you can buy it in Piazzale Roma or in Ferrovia boat ticket office or in Lido boats ticket office, before using boats: it is less expensive than a single course of boat! For holidays longer than 4 days: IMOB ticket is the best solution.You need a small photo (format for cards) and a valid document to have this ticket for each of you: you can buy a "tessera IMOB" in Piazzale Roma or in Ferrovia boat ticket office or in Lido boats ticket office, before using boats.It is less expensive than a turist ticket, is valid for all boat lines.
