Idyllic. I loved having breakfast outside on the beautiful terrace every mornin and dinner in the evening was a delightful experience and very reasonable. Staff were superb, both on reception and in catering. Room was lovely. Air conditioning good - and a real boon this year!

1: There were no directions provided. I knew the location from an earlier stay.
3. The receptionist did not like his job.
4. I booked a three-star hotel, got a small room in the four star house. It was correct,
however I would not say that it was 'Better'. The view of a trash-filled alley was a shame and so easy to remedy!

6. The porter and breakfast room personnel were very kind. Two of the three receptionists I experienced seemed to barely tolerate the guests.Too bad!

The breakfast buffet was very nice, although I would not pay €25 were it not included in the price of the room. I like the hotel and location very much, and would be glad to go back. Mostly I would like to be treated like a guest who is gladly seen, as with two exceptions, was the case.I also dislike overly loud background music in the reception and breakfast area.
