 Golf Club & other activities: at 5 minutes walk from our hotel, it's situated the famous golf club Alberoni, inaugurated in 1930 by Count Giuseppe Volpi, and built on the site of an historic military fort. Due to its meandering 18 holes carved through green pastures and pine trees, the course is today considered one of the most beautiful courses in Europe, where very famous and international tournaments take place every year. Lido also abounds with sporting activities like horseback riding, rowing, sailing, surfing, roller-skating and parachuting.
Beach & natural resources: this natural, protected oasis in the Alberoni region (named for its many forests of large trees), is easily visible by sea, and is characterized by a lot of beaches of fine-grain sand only 30 meters from the Villa. You can choose between the Bagni Alberoni, a private beach furnished with every possible comfort (cottages, beach umbrellas, seaside bar and restaurant) open from May to September, and the public beach. From sand dunes lined with Mediterranean flora and abounding with oriental plants, to pine forests inhabited by several species of birds, these public stretches of beach are ideal for long nature walks. At the end of the beach, jutting out into the sea for more than one kilometer, the majestic and rocky breakwater of Alberoni reaches out towards the one of the nearby Pellestrina's island (easily reachable with the ferry), forming one of the two seaway accesses to Venice.
Restaurants: Alberoni also plays host to two pizzerias and numerous other restaurants. Among the island's most romantic is the "Vecio Cantier", picturesquely positioned on the beach (Radice Diga Nord).
