How To Reach Us

By Plane: Having arrived at the Marco Polo airport (in Tessera, about 12 kilometers outside Venice) you can reach Lido directly by water with a motorboat (recommended) or by land (head for Piazzale Roma to take public transport for Lido). Alternatively there is another private, extremely fast water taxi service from the airport to Lido di Venezia.

By Car: At the highway exit, follow the signs for Venezia-Tronchetto, from which ferry boats depart every 40 minutes for Lido (unlike in Venice, cars are permitted on Lido.) Ticket prices vary according to the size of your car. Be sure not to miss out on the marvelous, panoramic view of Venice during the ferry boat ride, from the Zattere to Piazza S. Marco. Once on Lido, follow the signs for Alberoni. From there it is a ten minute trip along the coast of the lagoon to Villa Beatrice.

By Train: In front of you upon exiting the Santa Lucia train station is a public water taxi launching platform for line 51 of the ACTV, the fastest and most practical way to get to Lido di Venezia. The trip takes slightly less than an half-hour, and a boat leaves every 20 minutes. If you have time, however, and wish to enter Venice from the main port, you can take line 1 (the famous "vaporetto"!). The trip takes almost an hour, but takes you along the entire length of the celebrated Canal Grande. Other lines to Lido are the 82 (like the vaporetto, but a bit faster) and the 52 (like the 51, but a bit slower). At night, on the other hand, links to Lido are possible via line N (Nighttime), which departs from San Zaccaria (close to San Marco). If you prefer to avoid public transport, there is a private water taxi service that connects the train station with Lido. After getting off at the Lido stop (S.M. Elisabetta) you can reach our Villa by taxi or bus ACTV B (direction Alberoni; departure every 10 minutes).
