From Lido Main Pier Station (S.Maria Elisabetta):
You can either catch a taxi to Malamocco, (approx 10-minute ride) or catch the public transport bus A or B with direction Alberoni-Faro Rocchetta and get off in Malamocco centre. A 3-minute walk along Fondamenta della Madonna will take you to the entrance of Hotel Villa Paradiso.
From Venice Bus Terminal (Piazza Roma) or from the Railway Station (S. Lucia):
You can catch the public boat number 51 or 52 direction Lido. These boats take you to the Lido main pier station in approx. 40 minutes.
From Venice Airport (Marco Polo):
You can catch the Alilaguna public boat service, which is in coincidence with the scheduled flights. It costs 10,00 Euro per person and takes you to the Lido main pier station in approx. 50 minutes.
If you are coming by Car:
Drive through the long bridge that connects the mainland to Venice, it is called Ponte della Liberta'. Short before the end of the bridge, on the right-hand side, there is a sign for Tronchetto, ferry boat to Lido, turn there and follow the indications that take you to the boarding point and its ticket counter. The ferry-boat is also part of the public transport service and operates every 50 minutes. It corresponds to line 17. Once you have reached the Lido, get off the ferry-boat and turn immediately on the right in Riviera S. Nicolo'. Continue straight ahead get through the Lido main pier station, and keep on going straight. In this way you are now in Via S. Gallo which is the main street that will take you to Malamocco in approx.10 minutes. A small bridge with the Malamocco sign will mark you entrance, keep on going straight, pass the big elbow curve and you will see the centre of Malamocco. Turn towards the centre and turn left at the Trattoria da Scarso. Go straight until the canal that marks the beginning of Fondamenta della Madonna. At the end of it there is Hotel Villa Paradiso (It is very easy to drive. You'll see). |
