By train:
From the train station Venezia S.Lucia take the waterbus 1 ("Vaporetto 1"), it will taje aproximately 1 hour thorughout the Canal Grande, and it leaves every ten minutes.Or you can take the waterbus 51 (it takes 40 minutes to get here, and it leaves every 20 minutes).
By plane:
The airport Marco Polo is 12 Km per land and 10 km per water far from Venice, and is wel connected with the public transports to Venice and Mestre.
Some waterbuses leaves in coincidence with the arrivals and will bring you to Venice in only 40 minutes. From there follow as above.
By car:
When you are in Venice you can park your car in "Piazzale Roma" or you can arrive to "Tronchetto", from here take a ferry-boat (that leaves every 50 minutes) and park comfortably your car in island of Lido. |
