From Airport Marco Polo: Marco Polo International Airport is about 7 miles from Venice. The hotel is easily reached by private water taxi. It is a 25 minute scenic ride direct to the hotel, or by the airport shuttle boat service, a one hour and 10 minute ride whit stops at the Islands of Murano and Lido before arriving at final destination right at St. Mark Square. From there it is 5 minutes walk to the hotel.
By Train: Santa Lucia Train Station is approximately a mile down the Grand Canal from the hotel. The hotel is easily reached by private water taxi (a 20 minute ride direct to the hotel). Or by public boat transportation a 30 minute ride, serviced by several boat lines year round, all stop at San Zaccaria boat station, only a few metres from the hotel. Pubblic transportation tends to be quite crowded, especially during peak hours.
By Car: Garages where it's possible to park your car are Tronchetto and San Marco, where we have a discount for our Clients. To reach the Tronchetto: as you approch the end of the Ponte della Libertà, the bridge linking Venice to the mainland, turn right at the traffic light and follow the signs for the Tronchetto Island. The hotel, about 1,5 miles away, can be reached by private water taxi, 20 minute ride direct to the hotel. Or by public boat transportation, a 35 minute ride serviced by the 82 line, stop at San Zaccaria boat station, only few metres to the hotel. To reach the garage San Marco: when you get to the traffic light follow the signs for Piazzale Roma, where you can find the garage. The Hotel can be reached by private water taxi in about 20 minutes, or by pubblic boat transportation a 30 minute ride, serviced by several boat lines year round, all stop at San Zaccaria boat station, only a few metres from the hotel. |
