In other homes we have rented, the pictures on the website have been deceiving or only show the very best of the home. With our apartment, it was exactly as it appeared on the website, if not better. The entire apartment was extremely clean and newly renovated. Everything was in working order and the amenities were better than expected. (ie: clothes dryer, kitchen amenities, good iron, hair dryer, etc)

We traveled to Venice as a part of a large group for a family wedding. Most of our family members stayed in hotels. On the first night, we had a large dinner at Acqua Pazza (very near the apartment), and brought family back to the apartments to see our accommodations. They were absolutely amazed that we had such great places for less than 150 Euro/night. They were paying almost 300 Euro/night for poor quality hotels!

Positive-good to note that there is a clothes dryer as well as washer. Also, alarm clock was a plus. The location is perfect--good central location to Rialto, San Marco & Accademia Bridge/Dorsoduro. The converter was also a very nice plus. It made using American appliances (electric shaver, hot rollers, etc) very convenient.

Our apartment was exceedingly clean and decorated very tastefully. The marble floors and very modern bathroom were a big plus. My husband is very tall (6'6') and rarely fits in European showers. He had no trouble here. The bed was VERY comfortable and the location was very quiet and peaceful, yet close to a vibrant campo and within walking distance of major tourist activities. We had an amazing welcome basket--well worth the 40 Euro charge. We could not have eaten all the food provided if we had stayed 2 weeks! I felt as if I was staying in a high-end hotel suite and not at a local apartment.

Our stay was sonderful! Communication was excellent - Consuelo met us as arranged, explained everything and left us to it, with a contact number if any problems arose (they did not). The apartment was delightful. Described as “furnished with elegance and carefully equipped” it certainly lived up to our expectations - in fact it was even more spacious in reality than it looked on the website photographs. Attention to detail was everywhere, down to the tableware, high quality bedding and towels, and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Efficient air-conditioning, beautiful marble floors throughout and a powerful shower were welcome comforts at the end of a hot summer’s day walking around Venice. I would definitely stay here again, and have recommended the apartment to friends. Thank you.

My luggage had not arrived with us in Rome, so we were hours late getting to Venice. We expected to arrive around 6:30pm, instead we arrived at 11:00pm. Consuela was there to meet us with a big smile on her face. She also became my contact person for the airline. She arranged for my luggage to be delivered to a hotel so I would not spend my holiday waiting for the luggage to arrive. Thank god she did, because my luggage was never delivered to Venice. I had to pick it up at the airport three days after we arrived.

We traveled with three teenagers and two mom's. So given that mix you can only imagine how critical we could be. It was agreed by all that the apartment was great. I am hoping to go back to Venice and if I go with a group of friends I would absoutely rent here again.

The apartment was 30 seconds to one minute walk from the St. Angelo Vaporetto stop. When you have to walk with luggage in tow you don't want to have to walk very far to get to your accomodations.

Close to the Vaporetto. Clean and very comfortable. It is nice to have the kitchen amenities to make tea or coffee in the morning. Plenty of room for kids to play cards or just hang out after a long day.

Absolutely amazing! I would stay there again in a heartbeat. My other half and a friend stayed there and my friend was very skeptical and he was very surprized. Loved it. Hoping to stay there when we go back.

They were really helpful about the fact our flight was late and we had to keep changing the time to meet us outside the apartment. She turned up on time and was really helpful giving us information on places to eat.

The flat was really lovely, really spacious and had lots of extras such as a washing machine, ironing board and dishwasher which were all really useful.

Your Home in Venice is a beautiful place to stay and it is located in a wonderful location with access to the main attractions. Consuelo is ever so helpful and was in every detail to make our stay, a very pleasant one. I would recommend this place anyone and would gladly stay there again. I also want to add that the staff at veniceby.com (Guidica especially) was very helpful with my query and made sure everything was ok for us to travel.

It was an oasis in what can be stormy ( less than desireable) accomodations. we were looking for a place that provided us the ability to stretch out, make our own breakfast and enjoy our company together. this is not possible in a hotel room. very very good.

The buildings don't look like much from the outside, nothing does in venice, even the expensive ones but the inside is just what we wanted and needed.

I would emphasise that it is extremely easy to get around venice. easy to walk or catch the water bus (vaporetto) Our apt was just what we needed. we were 2 minutes walk from san angelo vaporetto and then 3-5 minutes to san marco - 3 minutes to accedemia bridge. also our apt was exactly what we were used to, a cook top, a dishwasher, a great shower, king size beds, modern and pleasing decor. My highest recommendation for people who don't need to stay at an address. To anyone out there please check this out, we came from the olympics in Torino and this was heaven. It had great heat that was easy to control. There was very little noise as this was not on the main pathways. It was great.

It was a great location.
It was very clean and very pleasant to stay.
I just wish that there was some washing/laundry detergent available for the machine. It's not an issue of cost, but convenience. I could have gone and get some, but was lazy. It's not a problem.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and modern. We would reccomend this apartment as a place to saty for friends. Check in was very good. We where given a local map and told of all the local supermarkets and thing to see. We where also shown which boats to get to the differn't Islands. Very good welcome.

Consuelo was excellent she guided us very well as soon as we arrived at Treviso airport as I called her a number of times! She was very friendly and waited for us even though it was quite late at night.

Very pleasant.
The place looked exactly the way it was in the photos. Clean, nicely decorated and brightly litted.
The landlord, Consuelo was very friendly and welcoming. She actually tried to bring us around at night (around 10pm) when we told her we hadn't had our dinner.
Definitely will put up at the same place when we're back to Venice again!!

The apartment was exceptionally clean and just as shown on the brochure. Consuelo was very helpful and gave us very useful hints as to restaurants and places to go. The only down point is that she promised to deliver the payment receipt the next morning (a voucher for the credit card) and she never got to it,we never saw her again. Otherwise everything was great.

My friends and myself had a wonderful time in Venice, the apatment was located in a not so touristy neighbourhood so we had a different point of view and a much more real taste of Venice and Venitians. We were always treated in the nicest and most helpful way which added to the trip.

Definetely, when you state that the apartment is in San Marcos you get the idea of being in the middle of a touristy, crowded, busy neighbourhood which I personally do not appreciate that much. The surroundings of the apartment offered by YHInVenice are much nicer, local and CLEANER, within easy reach of all the main attractions and means of transportation, and one must mention the lovely and quiet neighbouring piazzas with great cafes and bars.

I would have to say that the place was marvelous, the facilities were just what a group of women friends need. Safe, within easy reach and surrounded by wonderful cafes and bars. In fact I have already recommended this place to some members of my family and friends.

we were met at the waterbus stop at the time agreed.
we had booked a one bedroom apartment but were gicvena two bedroom and that was absoluetly fine.

as we were in an aprtmeht the check out was not the same as for a hotel.
It was agreed we would leave the keys in the partment when we left and that was great.
There was also no time limit on us for checking out which was very custmer focussed and we were really very happy with the partment and the whole arrangemnt.
we would certainly use the service again.

As we had taken an overnight train from Zurich to Venice Consuelo allowed us to check in very early and it was greatly appreciated. Consuelo was not able to meet us because she was not well but the woman who met us was wonderful. I think her name was Alicia, but I am not sure! But everything was wonderful!

The apartment was all new inside and very clean. We loved all the amenities, washer/dryer, kitchen utensils and pans, hairdryer and the bottle of wine!

We stayed in an apartment so there was no checkout, nor was there any staff there while we were in Venice. However, I felt that if we needed anything or had a problem of any kind I could reach Consuelo on her phone number that was provided to us.

It was a lovely place located just a five minute walk from Piazza San Marco one way, and a five minute walk to the Accademia the other way. The apartment is totally renovated and very clean. Great pizza two minutes away. The best pizza we ate in all of Italy. And a wonderful fish restaurant one block from the apartment. Venice was the best apartment we rented during our stay in Italy.

the pictures were good but did not convey the true size of the rooms. the quality of the apartment and its location enhanced the pleasure of the long stay in venice. I was afraid that the pictures exaggerated the cleanliness and furnishings of the apartment. I was pleasantly surprised.

Excellent location and value for a stay of a week or longer. Since it was winter and we were staying for a month, the excellent heating system and the washer/dryer were especially useful.
I would rent it again without hesitation.

The Venice apartment was very close to the vaporetto stop but we would not have found it without guidance, ie from the map alone.

It is worth mentioning that there were initial supplies of detergents, soaps, etc as other serviced apartments we've stayed in have had none of these things.

This is an excellent, spacious and attractively furnished apartment. It is very well located and in a quiet neighbourhood but ashort walk to San Marco and the Accademia. We would be very happy to stay there again.

The apartment we rented was definitely a better option than staying at a hotel in Venice. It was much bigger than any hotel room, less expensive, had a kitchen, washer/dryer, iron, etc. (things that a hotel wouldn't have). Plus, it was beautifully decorated and in a good location.

For people who don't know venice and that most flats (especially in small streets and low floors) are quite dark, it might prevent dissapointment if you stated that it is a ground floor flat and therefore quite dark.
Being a ground floor flat it is very interesting for people with walking disabilities or older people, especially if you think of the small staircases that some hotels hav to offer...

A modern, beautiful 2 room flat with kitchen and dining area and beautiful big bathroom that makes up for its lack of views and darkness during the day (when you do not normally stay in the flat anyway) by a very light and airy design. Very central, close to Rialto, San Marco and Academia, close to Vaporetto and direct line to station.
We felt very much at home there!

One thing we noticed was that the blankets (kept in a closet) were a bit musty-smelling. This is probably because most people use the duvet on the bed, and also because the apartment is right on a canal there may be dampness, but the blankets should probably be aired sometimes. Other than that, the place was wonderful -- spacious & well furnished. Thank you.

Fabulous apartment. Lovely decor, comfortable beds, washing machine, dishwasher, all the mod cons except satellite TV. Who wants to watch TV in Venice anyway? Would definitely stay there again. wonderful location, a bit off the tourist track. Quiet.

The apartment was out of toilet paper. We called the staff for delivery but no one showed. We purchased some at the store in lieu of the staff dropping it off.
